New Installment: Inverse. The Desert and the Mountain.
Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10:49AM Looking at the topography maps of the desert, I often become confused. While the topo lines of the high peaks show tall uplift-erected structures striking out from the flat normalcy, the desert shows the inverse of eroded, carved out canyons. They really are the 'Ying' and the 'Yang' for me. I feel more comfortable in the mountains, but I feel as if there cannot be one without the other. Traveling to the desert feels like traveling to prehistoric times. There is something magical about it.
The past week I feel fortunate to have past through both of the realms. Enjoy.
